Background
Botswana's Ministry of Transport and Public Works initiated the A10 road expansion project on 24 September 2024 to convert a 2 lane carriageway into a 4 lane carriageway. The expansion addresses growing logistics and transport demands across the region.
The Kolobeng Bridge A10 was completed in the 1990s and has serviced traffic for over 30 years. Delta Scan was engaged to investigate the bridge's current condition and determine whether retrofit or replication would best serve the expansion project requirements.
